Goodwill Industries promotes retail, finance directors | Business

PITTSFIELD — Karen Harrington has been promoted to director of retail operations, northern territory, and Mary Killeen to director of finance by Goodwill Industries of the Berkshires and Southern Vermont, which is based mostly in Pittsfield.

Harrington has been the supervisor of Goodwill’s retail retailer in Bennington, Vt. because 2015. She oversees functions at Goodwill’s shop in North Adams and in Rutland, Vt., and is a member of the team that is operating on the July reopening of Goodwill’s flagship retail outlet in Pittsfield.

Prior to joining Goodwill, the Bennington indigenous was used at the Bennington Museum for 22 several years, which include 16 yrs as administrative assistant to the govt director.

Killeen, a native and resident of Pittsfield, joined Goodwill in 2020 as senior accountant. She retains a bachelor of science diploma in company administration from Stonehill Faculty.

In her new position as director of finance, Killeen will oversee all the day-to-day financial facets of Goodwill’s functions, as properly as shorter- and prolonged-time period arranging for the nonprofit corporation.
